A Dominican man woke up to find his penis missing.

According to Gawker.com, the 64-year-old Dominican man had been drinking heavily the previous night.

Geraldo Romos of Santiago told a local TV station that he doesn't remember how he lost his penis, but he recalls being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after its disappearance.

According to Notcias Sin, the neighbors believe that a dog must have attacked and bit Ramos, who was very drunk and naked the night he lost his penis. However, Ramos, a dog owner himself, denies his neighbors' version of events. He explained that the dog that "attacked" him could not be found.

Ramos told reporters that the horrifying incident was a wake up call for him, and that he plans on going sober in the future, according to Notcias Sin.
