Women Put More Effort Into Girl's Night Out
Women put more effort when they go out with the girls than when they go out for dates, according to a new survey.
The latest research reveals that twice as many women shave or wax their legs before going out with their friends than when they go on a date with a boyfriend.
The survey also revealed that 33 percent of women would buy a new outfit and spend 50 minutes getting ready for girl's night. However, just 20 percent of women reported doing the same when going out on a date.
The survey also revealed that four in 10 women said that they would rather have a night out with friends than a romantic evening with their boyfriends.
Researchers found that 64 percent of women said their favorite topic of conversation was men, followed by gossip and sex.
"A night out with your best friends is always going to be a cause for celebration," said a spokesperson for Mecca Bingo, the company that conducted the survey, according to the Daily Mail. "But it's interesting that the night begins long before we set out the door, with women going to all sorts of lengths to look their very best."
"We have thousands of visitors each week, mostly females who make it their mission to enjoy an evening of entertainment," she added. "You can tell that it's all about the lead up, the preparation, the organization and putting on your glad rags."
"They always looks dressed up to the nines - maybe men should make more of an effort when they go out for their boys nights out," she said.
