Did you accidentally cut your finger or hurt your foot? 

While you can wait for them to heal on its own, here are few home remedies that can help heal your wounds faster. 

Turmeric powder

Turmeric powder has high antiseptic properties. You can use it by applying a generous amount on a fresh cut. Doing this will help stop the oozing of blood and would also prevent infections.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has anti-itching property and can be a good option to heal wounds. 

Sugar

Sugar in excessive amount is harmful for the body. However, the same granulated sugar can do wonders on your wounds. Sugar has the property to absorb water. Sprinkle it on the affected area but make sure you clean the wound in the next 15 minutes.

Honey

Honey can act as an antibacterial agent on superficial cuts and wounds. It helps clean the wound while preventing any further infection. It can also reduce swelling. Earlier studies have shown that burns treated with honey healed on an average four days earlier than burns treated without it.

Tea bags
