Choosing between the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro
Apple is trying to turn the tables on its iPad after the sales have suffered massively over the last few years. The new iPad Pro is an answer to the plummeting sales. The new pro version of the Apple's iPad features 12.9 inch display screen that is primarily designed for the business customers but may also appeal to the Apple enthusiast consumers who want the best experience that the money can buy. Even though the iPad Pro is expected to push the sales of the iPads but the analysts also predict that its sales may cut into MacBook Pro 13-inch variant. Even the Apple CEO, Tim Cook, in a bid to promote its new iPad said that the consumers are better off spending their money on the tablet than the computers. While some customers may get swayed by that logic, there would still be some who would prefer to buy the notebook instead. For the benefit of customers that are torn between MacBook Pro and the iPad Pro, the comparison done by the experts may come in handy to make the right decision, says eWeek.
Many experts would say that the iPad Pro is a peer to the MacBook Pro in many ways than one, at least in terms of computational hardware. The new iPad Pro is definitely faster than your pros and airs. The new iPad Pro is not only cheaper than its in-house MacBook Pro but can also give other tablets like Surface Pro 4 a run for its money, in terms of performance and configuration for half the price. At a fundamental level, iPad Pro is a definite win on CPU speed, display quality, GPU performance, interface and overall usage than a MacBook Pro. The "pro" aspect of iPads are for the professionals. However, it will also be a suitable purchase for regular consumers who don't mind paying for a bigger screen, better volume and faster performance, says Daring Fireball.
