Get One Year Unlimited Cloud Storage for $5 from Amazon
Amazon launched two unlimited plans for its Cloud Drive Service this year, one that was to be used for the photos and the other to be used for file storage. Now there is another plan that is being offered by Amazon at a measly $5 for unlimited everything! This is a limited time offer and is a very sweet deal considering that all types of unlimited cloud drive plans start at $59.99 per year while the ones for photos is $11.99. This is also a very good option for users who are especially unhappy with the discontinued unlimited storage plan that was offered by Microsoft on OneDrive last month. The service for Amazon Cloud Drive can be accessed via the apps on Android and iOS which makes data back up an easy work, reported Neowin.
The users who were using the Microsoft OneDrive were up for a rude shock when the company decided to discontinue the plan that offered unlimited storage to the Office 365 subscribers. However, now that service has been downgraded to 1TB. According to Microsoft, many people were reportedly taking advantage of the service that was way beyond the average user requirement. "A small number of users backed up numerous PCs and stored entire movie collections and DVR recordings," the company said. "In some instances, this exceeded 75 TB per user or 14,000 times the average," as reported by The Verge.
If you have a collection of files that you have been wanting to back up but didn't want to break a bank buying the cloud service, then Amazon's current offer will give you the opportunity to finally do it. However, the users need to remember that after the completion of 1 year, the price will be automatically changed back to $60, reports The Verge.
