Apple Watch 2 And iPhone 6C Coming Next March?
Next March could see Apple unveil the successor to Apple Watch and launch a 4-inch iPhone, if recent reports are to be believed.
Citing sources close to the matter, 9to5 Mac claimed that Apple Watch 2 will be launched next spring with some futuristic technologies that Apple has patented. The first edition of Watch was launched earlier this year and was received well. Having a March event next year also cements Apple's twice-a-year launch schedule.
Though not much is not known about the Apple Watch 2, rumors about iPhone 6C have been around for a while suggesting that it will be a 4-inch device, possibly without 3D Touch introduced in the iPhone 6S this September. A 4-inch device was rumored to be launched this year but several reports later suggested that a launch in 2016 would suit the iPhone lineup.
The Verge reports the 4-inch iPhone is likely to be packed in a metal and glass body and could resemble iPhone 5s. In performance terms it could be powered by the new A9 chipset that also powers iPhone 6S. Past reports however suggested that the new device could have iPhone 6 hardware in a 4-inch device. The iPhone 6 has an Apple A8 chipset.
