Gio Corsi, Sony's Director of Third Party Production & Developer Relations, reveals through Twitter that Sony will help the game developer, Stoic, behind strategy game The Banner Saga, to complete its PlayStation Vita port of the strategy game. The long message was posted by him on the game's official website, and confirmed that the Vita version of the game will be launched by 5th January 2016 in North America and by 6th January, 2016 in Europe. The console versions of Banner Saga will be released in January too. For now, it is a great news that the game will be available on many other platforms apart from PC. It is because of the delay, that his team has worked diligently to bring out the Vita version, according to Sccougar News. The game story line has been borrowed from Metal Gear Solid, the Japanese action-adventure game whose story line includes Metal Gear following a solider, Solid Snake, who has been sent into a research facility that develops nuclear weapons to infiltrate and eliminate the threat of a terrorist attack.

The strategy RPG game, The Banner Saga, is based on an epic Norse-inspired story line. The game received critical and commercial success in 2014 when it was launched on Mac, PC and mobile in 2014. It will be introduced on the consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next month. The new game is a prequel to the The Banner Sage 2 which will hit the PCs and Consoled next year. However, there is not much information about when it will make it to PS Vita as Corsi promises more information in 2016, as reported by Engadget.
