A national survey conducted by Popular condom brand Durex has revealed that more than half of Americans are unhappy with the duration of their lovemaking. While some wish it lasted longer, there are some who want it to finish quickly.

The study conducted by researchers at Wakefield Research, a U.S. company, found that out of the 1000 adults surveyed, 37 percent of the participants think that sex lasts for a very less time and 14 % long for a quickie.

The study revealed that 75 percent of men and 66 percent of women actually try changing the pace while making love.

The substantial 25 percent of people said that their ideal length of love making was about ten minutes or less.

Also, the conventional idea of reaching orgasm at the same time, the ultimate expression of being in tune with your partner, also does not happen frequently. In fact, more than a third of participants said that they almost never came at the same time as their partner.

The study further examined the idea of outdoor sex and as to which were the places preferred by the participants.

Researchers found that 75 percent of people have made love in an 'adventurous locale'. Also, respondents reported wanting to get naughty at home, and outside of the bedroom, like during shower (31 percent), the couch (23 percent) and the porch (22 percent).

The most desirable to have sex was found to be Eiffel Tower for women, whereas men named White House as their favorite.
