A new photo app released by Microsoft will help you become more confident about your selfies. The user interface is absolutely simple. All you need to do is click a photo and edit it using the app. The app contains editing features just like Instagram. The app is called Microsoft Selfie and it gives you plenty of editing options that you need to make that selfie picture perfect. In fact, Microsoft even describes the app as "selfie and portrait enhancement application," that uses the algorithm to make your photo look like it has been clicked by a professional, as reported by Venture Beat.

While the app works wonders in removing the graininess that is caused by the front camera and the name of the app is called selfie, it can still be used with the rear camera too. This means that you can apply this app's technology to improve any image. The app will take important factors such as your age, gender and skin tone into account and also things like lighting and background noise before applying the changes to your image. Users can choose from 13 filter options to improve the image after clicking it. Even though you can only use one filter at a time, you can apply two filters by saving the image with the first one and then reopening it again to apply the other one. You can save the file on your phone once you have finished editing, said Venture Beat

Since Microsoft Selfie is not linked to any social networks, if you want to share the image, it has to be through the regular way. The experts say that for Microsoft to create an image enhancement app for iOS and not for Windows is very strange, Venture Beat reported.
