The Lava P7 sports a 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and 196 ppi screen density. The phone has dimensions measuring 143 x 72.5 x 9.3 mm and weighing approximately 153.1 grams, along with a multi touch feature, and Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection.

 On the media front of the phone, the Lava P7 features a 5 mega pixels primary camera with LED flash, auto focus, geo tagging and a 2 mega pixels secondary camera, and comes with an internal storage capacity of 8 GB, which could be further expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card (dedicated slot).

The Lava P7 operates on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop platform (upgradable to Android Marshmallow v6.0) and is equipped with a quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 processor and a 1 GB of RAM.

The Lava P7 is powered by a removable Li Ion 2,000 mAh battery, which facilitates a stand by time of up to 260 hours and a talk time of up to 20 hours.

The Lava P7 would be available in blue black, pearl white and champagne gold color.
