Final Fantasy X and X-2 Remastered will soon make their debut on PC via Steam, according to game publisher Square Enix. The remastered collection will include both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 in high-definition as well as rearranged background music, International Edition content, auto-save, and five game boosters including high-speed and no encounter modes. It will also feature audio in English and in Japanese, according to Gematsu.

According to the official website of Steam, there are eight supported languages the game supports, which are English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese for the interface and subtitles, and English and Japanese for full audio support.

"Characters, monsters, and environments have been fine-tuned to HD detail, providing a richer, deeper Final Fantasy visual experience," the bundle's Steam store page states.

The two gaming titles, which were originally released on the PS2, were hugely successful games, to the extent that the games sold in excess of 14 million copies worldwide. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster made its PS3 and Vita debut in 2014, before hitting PS4 a year later. It is said that PC version of the two games will have a slightly better improvement than its PlayStation 4 version.

For gamers to run Final Fantasy X and X-2 Remastered on PC, they will need the recommended specs including a 2GHz dual core CPU, one GB of RAM, at least a graphics card equivalent of the Nvidia Geforce 9600GT with VRAM of 512MB, and storage of 37 GB available hard drive space, according to Yibada.

The release of the X/X-2 bundles comes just a month after developer and publisher Square Enix launched an HD remaster of Final Fantasy IX for PC, which has been priced at $20.

Final Fantasy X and X-2 Remastered will be released on Thursday, May 12, but pricing details for the gaming titles have not yet been revealed.
