Shy Autistic Boy, 2, Falls In Love With Snow White [WATCH]
Photographer Amanda Coley could not stop herself from capturing the moment when her two-year-old son, Jackson, who has autism and is non-verbal, fell completely in love with Disney princess Snow White during their family trip to Walt Disney World in November.
Jackson, who is a shy boy and doesn't interact with strangers, was diagnosed with nonverbal autism two weeks after the trip to Walt Disney World.
Coley posted the video that she captured from their trip on her Facebook page with the title "Autism and Disney - When your 2-year-old falls in LOVE with Snow White". Over six million people watched Jack and Snow White's love story over the past week and a half. However, due to some privacy reasons, she took it down and put it on YouTube after it started to go viral, according to People Magazine.
Coley said she cried happy tears when she saw her son fell for the princess while making a wonderful connection with a stranger.
"He was having nothing to do with any of the characters...You see, he has autism and is non-verbal," Coley explained in the video caption, according to Mashable. "He is on the shy side with people he does not know. Then he met Snow White. I must have cried 1,000 tears watching his interaction with her. He was in love," she noted.
"I felt so happy," Coley told Mashable via social media. "I wanted to sit there and watch their interaction for hours...it was so amazing to witness."
In the video Jackson, who can be seen all dressed up in his Pinocchio costume in the video, looks into Snow White's eyes, smiles and lays his head down on her lap.
"He likes to admire the characters from a little further away. My 13-year-old got him out of the stroller to take him up to Snow White...to our shock, he did not run. He leaned on her, sat with her and just kept gazing at her. He was just so content."
Coley said the family is planning another trip to Disney World in November.
