Sony Xperia XA Ultra is now official and its release date is set in July. The smartphone would reportedly be out with a large screen and one more color variant. Sony has put an end to Xperia Z in February by launching its X series handsets including Xperia X and Xperia XA. Now, just a couple of months later, the company has come up with its exclusive Sony Xperia XA Ultra with impressive features and configurations, according to International Business Times.

The smartphone is rumored to be launched in lime gold color variant alongside the regular black and white hues. The device will feature an edge to edge 6.0-inch display and 1080p screen resolution which translates to 367 PPI pixel density. The display is wrapped with a metal casing and is backed by 3GB RAM.

As far as Sony Xperia XA Ultra is concerned, the company appears to have focused much on the camera quality and its battery life. It is reported that the phone's battery will last up to two days once charged fully. Another notable feature is that the phone can be used for 5.5 hours by charging it for just 10 minutes at a stretch.

The smartphone's 16-megapixel front-facing camera is a boon to all the selfie lovers and the camera is also said to come with optical image stabilization feature as well. The night portrait mode also has both flash on and flash off features for a well-balanced background and foreground lighting. The rear camera boasts 21.5 megapixels with hybrid autofocus technology. The battery life and camera features make Sony Xperia XA Ultra appear promising among phones of its class.

"Under the hood, the Sony Xperia XA Ultra features a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and 3GB of RAM, which helps it run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Internal storage is 16GB but is easily expandable with the microSD card slot on board. The phone features two cameras and each sport an LED flash by its side. At the back, there's the company's proven 21.5MP sensor with hybrid autofocus. But the main focus is on the front-facer, which is 16MP and features OIS," reported GSM Arena.
