'Orange Is The New Black' Season 4 Cast, Spoilers & Release Date: Laverne Cox Drops Secrets Of Ruby Rose & Others!

New trailer for the "Orange Is The New Black" season 4 is just released by Netflix and fans are way too excited about the upcoming comedy-drama series. The premiere of the series is set to air on the television on Friday, 17 Jun, 2016.

As for the cast, Taylor Schilling plays Piper; Laura Prepon is reported to play Alex Vause and Ruby Rose plays the character of Stella in the season 4 of "Orange Is The New Black." This season is said to focus on the challenges faced by the inmates of Litchfield prison and Piper is rumored to be one of the characters that will face too much of trouble. With number of new characters introduced in this season, Piper would reportedly end up in trouble while being linked to one of the newbies, Alex. 

"The latest trailer features scenes of Taylor Schilling as Piper Chapman, Uzo Adaba as Suzanne 'Crazy Eyes' Warren, Danielle Brooks as Tasha 'Taystee' Jefferson, Kate Mulgrew as Galina 'Red' Reznikov, Samira Wiley as Poussey Washington, and Yael Stone as Lorna Morello, details Adweek," according to Master Herald.

Meanwhile Laverne Cox who plays a character named Sophia Burset in "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 opened up about one of the heart-wrenching incidents during the shoot. Cox noted that it brought tears in her eyes when she read the script that explained about the assault faced by Sophia in her own salon.

"I'm a lover not a fighter. I was bullied a lot as a kid, and I always ran from the bullies," Cox said, reported People. "A lot of that came back when I was in that scene and our director ... wanted me to be strong and sort of this defiant person and that's not really who I am. I run."

Cox, the first transgender to play the role of transgender in any show noted that violence against the third gender is a big issue these days and she was concerned that such assault scenes could trigger the emotions of such people. But she was however convinced that it is important "story to tell - and tell truthfully."
