Gran Turismo Sport Coming To PS4 Before December
Gran Turismo Sport will finally be screeching its way to the PS4 market this coming November as developer Polyphony Digital Inc. recently announced.
According to Engadget, Kazunori Yamauchi who has spearheaded the seminal racing series since its early inception has promised that his Polyphony Digital will be putting the metal to the pedal in this non-sequel as more in-depth graphic realism will be in full-form from the weather, to the dazzling cars, and in the damage acquired during racing.
Prior to this reveal, an earlier version of the game didn't feature the damage system for Gran Turismo Sport. Yamauchi pointed it out that Polyphony Digital has been testing the damage systems along with the recent offering of weather conditions for the pre-match options.
Yamauchi also identified that Polyphony Digital will be targeting a 1080p and 60 FPS for the game despite the fact that he divulges that they have acquired some frame rate issues for the current, unfinished version of Sport. As is to be expected, he didn't address the prospect of an improved version of the game for the enhanced version of PS4 that's rumored to be on the way.
Gran Turismo Sport will consist of more than 130 cars and support for online and offline play, though Due to this undertaking Polyphony Digital has nixed the idea of a scheduled beta as time would no longer be in full constraints if such a pre-game launch testing will be happening.
The latest entry will include three game modes: "Campaign", "Sports Mode" and "Arcade Mode". Both offline and online racing will feature in the game. The game has been described as different from the "Prologue" titles seen in the past in the series and will feature more content.
According to Video Gamer, Polyphony would prefer to spend its time focusing on Sport's launch this November. Sony also this week revealed details of a collector's edition and what kind of bonuses you'll receive for preordering.
"That's something that I'm very, very sorry about. In order to do a beta test we have to make a gold master of the beta test code, and for us it actually takes as much effort as to finish the real master code of the actual game," Yamauchi apologized.
