Fear The Walking Dead Return Date, Spoilers & Cast: New Characters Spice Up Next Season
The mid-season finale of "Fear of the Walking Dead" will finally come to fruition tonight in AMC as the post-apocalypse horror survival series will come to a halt before continuing with eight more episodes under its belt. According to Heavy, the network has not yet come clean as to when the Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson series will return for its second half. It has been speculated that the show could air once more in mid to late October as AMC has made it a habit of alternating the releases of the prequel series to "The Walking Dead."
The website had also mentioned that insiders have been saying that "Fear of the Walking Dead" could come as early as the first week of October.
However, it has also been rumored by Reddit users that their TV apps have projected that it will come back on screen before the premiere of "The Walking Dead," so it will be airing on August 14 as the latter has been reported to return on AMC by October 9.
Interestingly, the closing moments of the mid-season have brought in a lot of questions on who will be returning as everybody seems to be having a nervous breakdown of sorts, from Chris to Travis and to Madison - making all the characters in "Fear of the Walking Dead" rooted in their own personal upheaval.
With the finale entitled "Shiva" splitting up the core group into three different splinters. Questions have been raised who will back and survived as season 2 comes to a close. Will they be sticking it out in the yacht? Will there be more encounters by land?
Issues have been raised on the character portrayed by Ruben Blades, Daniel Salazar who began to lose the plot slowly with the death of Griselda as Blades will no longer have his own personal weeping blanket for all the malicious acts that he has done in order to survive. As the finale comes to a close have we really known were Daniel physically is?
Another character is that of Victor Strand portrayed by Coleman Domingo, who in the beginning always was a steadfast persona but now is hardly a shadow of his former self as his strategies have gone haywire.
