Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date, Spoilers & Plots: Bethesda Confirms 2019 Launch?
Bethesda has yet to give an inkling on when “Elder Scrolls 6” will be out though many have started to settle with the idea that the game is not due until 2019. The apparent reason for such is the time element that the company follows when it comes to releasing new game titles.
Skimming back the timeline of previous “Elder Scrolls” releases, Bethesda released “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” in 2011 and then followed that up with “Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” last year, 2015. So doing the math, it only makes sense to safely assume that the year allowance easily points to a 2019 release.
Though it seems evident, gamers are still leaving a bit of hope that Bethesda pulls off some sort of gimmick that would see the next “Elder Scrolls” installment out as early as 2017.
A big reason for this belief is the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) which will take place next year where “Elder Scrolls 6” could finally be out in the open. And if that happens, would an official release be far behind?
Bethesda is currently busy focusing on “Fallout 4” meaning the company may not even be putting in serious work with the “Elder Scrolls” franchise as we speak. But then again, the company has kept a tight lid on the progress (or any update) regarding the “Elder Scrolls” so there could be something cooking that critics and gamers are not even aware of.
All gaming fans seem to be interested right now is a sign that there will be a sixth installment in the works. A trailer or even an official announcement will do and gamers are banking on such as early as E3 2016 which happens next month at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
But even if Bethesda goes through the trouble of appeasing their supporter’s demands, it is likely that word on when they plan to release it will follow. The open world fantasy role-playing game has grown immensely in popularity which is attributed to its mod-friendly, community-made content and its never-ending play time.
“Elder Scrolls 6” is expected to be a continuation on where Skyrim V left off, a reason why most folks are expecting it to be called as “Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim II”.
