Gamers who have been playing “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” will be seeing improvements from hereon following the 1.20 update released by CD Projekt Red for all gaming platforms.

The update comes ahead of the expected Blood and Wine expansion which means new goodies in the form of enemy upscaling options and a new system that should make it easy for players to collect Gwent cards.

More importantly, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.20 will bring in critical patches aimed at fixing erring bugs as well as needed visual improvements.

Among the things expected to be addressed is the one involving Geralt who doesn’t put his clothes back on after sex scenes. A PS4-related problem that has something to do with the texture of water puddles is also expected to be enhanced with the said patch.

Here are some of the key changes that players of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” can look forward to:

1. Display herb names over interactions
2. Display option for displaying automatic drawing and sheathing of sword
3. Better chances of finding select monsters
4. Improved player statistic panels
5. New functionality for books and scrolls
6. Improved inventory
7. Improved crafting panels
8. Improved Quick Access Menu
9. Counter for bombs and crossbow bolts
10. Improved region maps

Blood and Wine expansion

Aside from the patch, there is the Blood and Wine Expansion for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” to look forward to. The expansion pack offers over 90 new quests and about 30 hours of gameplay. This will be the final add-on for “The Witcher 3”.

GameSpot has rated “The Wither 3: Wild Hunt” a high 8/10 which should give gamers a fair idea on how good this game will be.

"Perhaps we will join him in yet another adventure, but if Blood and Wine is the White Wolf's final interactive appearance, he at least departs in style," reviewer Kevin VanOrd said of GameSpot.

With the popularity and success of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” it will be interesting what follow-up game CD Projekt Red will have next. The answer to that comes at E3 which happens this June.
