'Dishonored 2' Release Date & News: Arkane Studios Developers Surprised By Unknown Power Combinations [VIDEO]
"Dishonored 2" is the sequel to the stealth-based action-adventure game that starred Corvo Attano. In it, the Empress' daughter, Emily Kaldwin gets to join in the fun with supernatural abilities of her own. What Arkane Studios developers didn't count on was that in the testing, Corvo and Emily have power combinations they did not expect.
Unknown and Unexpected Power Combinations
It seems that the "Dishonored 2" is surprising the testers, including the developers from Arkane Studios. The sequel is expected to be better than ever when it comes to the protagonists' powers and ways to attack their enemies with regards to the player objectives.
Arkane Studios director Harvey Smith shared with the Official Xbox Magazine that the testers of the game are unlocking new power moves and abilities that even surprised them, Games Radar reported. Smith shared in one example that Emily's abilities Domino and Doppelganger were used by testers to assassinate three enemies at once. He shared that the developers had no previous knowledge that Emily could do that in "Dishonored 2."

Another is when a mine is attached to a doppelganger, but the enemies blow up when they pursue Emily in a chase in "Dishonored 2." The discovery was made in accident by one of the testers when he meant to put the explosive on the ground but it went to the doppelganger instead, PC Games noted.
Arkane Studios Enjoying the Experimentations
The developers at Arkane Studios aren't too hung up about the unexpected turn of events for their game "Dishonored 2." In fact, some of the developers declared they "love it." Whatever new discoveries that testers are uncovering in the game, they are welcoming it, Game Rant shared.
Arkane Studios' newest game is one of the most awaited games to be showcased at E3 2016 this month. Players can either play as Emily or Corvo in "Dishonored 2" starting Nov. 11, 2016.
