Jessica Jones Season 2 won't be up until 2018. But fans don't seem to care as the highly anticipated Netflix binge show has already captivated the hearts of everyone. Series showrunner Melissa Rosenberg is focused on making sure season 2 of Jessica Jones will not disappoint. Here are some things you ought to know before Season 2.

Season 1 VS Season 2

Rottentomatoes reported that according to Rosenberg, the upcoming season will be easier since you won't be creating the world. She already knows the cast and knows exactly what she wants creating. She knows the tone, and she has brilliant writers to help her out. But the bar has been set higher and sometimes she doesn't know if she's going to make it. She's concerned about people being disappointed, so the pressure is a constant thing.

The Going Gets Tougher For Krysten Ritter

Rosenberg says it's going to be challenging for Ritter this season. She's going to be given more things to play so she can explore and have more fun. She's going to be given unlimited access to her caliber. Rosenberg wants to push Ritter to her limits, dig deeper. Go beyond what is already familiar.

If You're Not Bad Enough, You're Not Worth It

If Jessica Jones were to get out of bed, you have to make sure you're bad enough for her to get out of bed. It's all about character points. What it's all about. Sometimes if Rosenberg doesn't get a clear answer for that, a whole plot can get wiped out. Then they have to start all over again. With Jessica's character and emotion. When they get that right, everything else follows.

On Comic Book Adaptations

Rosenberg admits she is a big fan of Alias, Brian Michael Bendis's comic book. She's made it no secret that it had a great influence on the first season. Rosenberg even wants Bendis to write more before season 2 shoot begins. This way, she could get more inspiration. She said,"The book is my favorite. The book is amazing. I've always pulled everything and anything I could from there. So if there's anything left, I'm going to keep pulling as much as I can. It's just such a great piece of work and he's creating the comic books. I'm like,'Go fast! Go fast so I can steal more from you, pay homage.'"

As mentioned by Gameguide, comic fans already know Jessica and Luke get married and have a child. Some fans are hoping this will also happen in the series.

Well, perhaps this is the first time that 'stealing' became a delightful thing. For more on Jessica Jones Season 2 updates, keep it here on Counselheal. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
