The original artilce:

Amid speculations that a "Clash of Clans" update is happening within the month, a new report has suggested that this release date may not be possible.

What could be the reason behind this delay? It can be recalled that rumors about a new update have previously claimed that it will finally be available by September. However, it never happened.

As certain reports claimed that its availability this month is inevitable, MobiPicker has something else to say.

The tech site pointed out that if gamers and fans of the Supercell-developed "Clash of Clans" would consider the trend in releasing updates, the Oct. 11 or sooner debut could be likely.

However, the latest post of Supercell's Anoushka somehow implied that fans may need to wait a little longer for the arrival of the much-awaited update.

"Neither I nor Marika stated that the update would go live in September for sure," Anoushka reportedly shared on the "Clash of Clans" forum.

Despite saying that "It may as well happen in October," it is worth noting that Anoushka also emphasized that they are still "working on it."

MobiPicker appeared optimistic, though, as it stated that the highly-anticipated "Clash of Clans" update is really going live not later than Oct. 11, as sneak peeks will be introduced "in the coming days."

In the meantime, the official "CoC" blog revealed several exciting features of the game's regular balancing updates.

"In this sizable round of balancing changes, we're continuing to develop Town Hall 11 gameplay, boost underperforming units, and ease some high-level upgrades," the blog entry read. "We've also taken a look at Clan Wars XP and war loot rules."

One of these is the new Mortar level 10 (TH 11) wherein the Mortar level 8-9 damage is increased.

"Mortar has fallen behind the defensive curve," the blog explained about the new "Clash of Clans" balancing update. "A boost to later levels, and the new Mortar level 10, will help give Mortar back its punch."
