There is no pause in the tech world as far as investment is concerned. Missing a trend means you are missing it big. You do not need to worry as well because another trend is going to take its place in the near future.

If the investors are thinking of investing Virtual Reality and Internet of things are perfect options. Both these markets are accepting massive technology adoption by the companies. In addition to this, both these markets are at the beginner stage.

Virtual Reality is growing because lots of world's most influential companies are making a big investment in the space. It is predicted that there shall be 170 million active VR users till 2018 all over the world. The forecast says that the VR market will grow up to $70 billion till 2020.

It was Face book who bought VR Company 'Oculus' for $2 billion a year ago. This purchase is turning out to be significant for virtual reality world.  

Rift VR headset was released for $599 by Oculus, hence this device is at the high end of VR market. Presently this does not seem appealing to the consumers, but face book is taking the longer view. Apart from face book, Sony has released the VR head set for $399 which is less costly as compared to Oculus rift.

Finally, NIVIDA is trying to enter into VR space because of its influential position in the graphics processing unit.

On the other hand, the Internet of things is a solid connection to things which were not connected to the internet. Smart watches are the best example of IOT, which takes old technology and adds sensors like motion-tracking, microphones, and GPS. It is believed that IOT will have 2 billion new devices till 2020 which are only 23 billion in the recent time.

Plenty of companies are looking to capitalize in IOT which may include companies like InvenSense and General Electric. It is believed that Internet of Things market will reach $19 trillion by 2025.

There is little doubt in saying that investors can invest blindly in both IOT and VR. The business would multiply within no time and both these companies are equally good.
