However, the Girl Meets World star said that she and the Treat You Better artist are not seeing each other. She said she doesn't know him very well. She only met him a few times and he seemed very sweet. She also said that she's a fan of Mendes and his work, especially his new album. Despite these denials, some fans believe that they are just trying to keep things under wraps fearing what too much publicity does in a relationship (like in Bieber-Gomez).

One could read a lot in this title but viewers have a bad feeling that this is already a sign of Carpenter's bidding fans goodbye.
