Dishonored 2 is an upcoming action genre adventurous video game developed by Arkane Studios. It was announced at E3 showcase by Bethesda Softworks on 14 June 2015.

Bethesda Softworks will publish it. It is the sequel to 2012's Dishonored game and is scheduled to be released for Windows, Play Station 4, and Xbox One on November 11, 2016.

Developers have released a trailer for Dishonored 2. The trailer shows the different powers of Emily and Corvo, the players of Dishonored2.

The game is titled as "Daring Escapes," and showcases that how players can utilize Emily's and Corvo's powers to escapes their enemies.

The Gameplay

After a usurper steals the throne from the Empress, Corvo and she have to travel to Karnaca, a city is searching for a key. That key will restore the Empress her power. After 15 years, on the Serkonos Island, the game will start again but this time with two characters.

Dishonored 2 has many elements adapted from its predecessor like combining all weapons to eradicate enemies, by arranging accident player can eliminate targets, etc. 

At the start of the game, you have to play like Emily for about 20 to 30 minutes. After the stipulated time, you have to choose between Emily and Corvo and this character lasts throughout the game.

Irrespective of choice, series of missions are same for both. They just differ in perspectives and the powers they possess. Every level in this version has unique fiction and mechanic.

Powers

Dedicated to the principles of simulation gameplay, Dishonored 2 encourages players to experiment with various superpowers.

Corvo's Powers

• Blink- Allows him to freeze time as long as he wasn't moving.
• Dark Vision- when he activates it, it sends out three pulses eight seconds apart.
• Devouring Swarm- The swarm consumes bodies, leaving no cleanup after a kill. It lessens blood-fly populations in Karnaca. You can upgrade the power to have a larger swarm or even have two swarms at a time in Dishonored 2.
• Possession- This supernatural power of Corvo, allows to possess animals and eventually humans.
• Bend time- This allows Corvo to slow or halt time temporarily. In Dishonored 2, it allows you to advance time.

Emily's Powers

To get back to the throne of Dunwall, she has supernatural powers in her quest.

• Far Reach- It is versatile power. It's just a mechanic movement that can be used when enemies are after us.
• Mesmerize- It puts enemies in a distracted dream state.
• Domino- This power allows you to link the fates of multiple characters. Whatever you do to a character it then affects the others too in the same way.
• Doppelganger- It creates a clone of Emily which misdirects enemies.

1. Limited Edition:

It is the standard edition of Dishonored 2 for pre-orders. It comes with the digital copy of Definitive Edition.

2. Collector's Edition:

This version contains bonuses besides the game such as -

• Corvo Attano's Stand and Mask Replica.
• Emily Kaldwin's Ring Replica (made of zinc alloy) and Display Box.
• Digital Imperial Assassin's Pack which contains 500 coins to acquire new gear and weapons in the illegal black market of Karnaca.
