Apple recently showcased the new additions to the MacBook Pro family, and it also proudly showed its new invention, the Touch Bar. Apple seems to be in the headlines once again, as it is being speculated that the iPad Mini 5 is scheduled to be released this month.

Since the product itself was absent from Apple's showcasing, it is rumored that the product is likely to hit store shelves around the beginning of next year, along with the iPad Pro 2.

Apple has given a lot of focus to its laptop lineups by providing different marketing methods for each individual laptop, promising to give great support to the community.

The Cupertino-based giant would also be testing out the iPad lineup next year, and naturally the focus of the lineup is the iPad Mini 5. Apple is aiming at a 2017 launch for the iPad series.

An Apple fan has also speculated that Apple will most probably merge the Mini lineup with the iPad Pro, driving simpler and similar design growth among the new technologies, taking a more streamlined approach. If this really is the case, fans of the tech giant can be looking at a lineup of iPad Pro Mini along with the three variants of the iPad Pro 2.

Apple meanwhile has kept its mouth shut, and has neither confirmed nor denied its plans for the future. Besides the iPad Mini 5, fans are also eagerly expecting the launch of iPad Air 3. However, thanks to a delay in schedule, Apple is yet to release the details of the slate.

The upcoming iPad Mini is speculated to be a scaled down version of an iPad Pro, which will serve as an entry-level version for the iPad Pro 2 assembly. The speculated specs include an A9X chipset, a good 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.

Apple's design language is changing every year and this time around as well, Apple is said to be slicing few millimeters off the iPad Mini, making it more streamlined and lighter than the iPad Mini 4.

With everything still being under wraps, it is very hard to say exactly what Apple will do. The only solution is to wait and watch Apple's future showcases.
