Oppo F1s is a new variant from Oppo Mobiles, a Chinese mobile manufacturing mammoth. The Oppo takes pride in its cameras, taking a tag of the selfie expert. Though still young in the mobile market, Oppo is growing its reach in the market day-by-day.

Functional Differences: Google's Pixel Vs Oppo's F1s
Design and display: The resolution of Oppo F1s is 1280 x 720 pixels, while it is a 1080 x 1920 pixel Full HD resolution in the Pixel. While Oppo F1s comes with 5.5-inch display, Pixel has comparatively smaller 5-inch display only.
Platform: Oppo F1s runs on Android 5.1 OS. Pixel's OS is Android 7. Pixel would be comparatively better in this context than Oppo's F1s as Android 7 version brings many features and fixes with it.
Chipset: The chipset powering these two are different. The Oppo F1s runs on MediaTek MT6750 processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz and Pixel runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with a clock speed of 1.6GHz.
Oppo F1s has octa-core processor and Pixel has a quad core processor. Pixel lags behind Oppo in this feature as the quad core are just a standard feature of smartphone range these days. GPU of Oppo F1s is Mali-T860MP2 while Pixel uses Adreno 530.
Memory and Storage:
- Oppo F1s has microSD card slot, expandable to 256GB. In Pixel, there is no card slot.
- The internal memory of oppo F1s is 32GB and Pixel comes with two variants 32GB/128GB.
- RAM capacity of Oppo F1s is 3GB and Pixel have higher RAM of 4GB than Oppo F1s'. So, Pixel runs ahead of Oppo in this feature.
Camera: The F1s provides the user a 16 MP front camera and a 13 MP rear camera. Oppo's 13 megapixels disappointed as earlier reports suggested 16 megapixels. The Pixel comes with an 8 MP front camera and a 12.3 MP rear one. In camera quality, Oppo is a shade better than the Pixel.
Battery: Oppo F1s lags behind here with a capacity of 3075mAh as compared to Pixel's 3450 mAh. Pixel's battery is made up of Li-Ion while Oppo is with Li-Po.
Dual Sim Vs Single Sim: Oppo offers dual sim with nano sim slot whereas Pixel provides single nano sim slot.
Miscellaneous Features
- Weight: Both the Smartphones have the comparable weight of approximately 165 g.
- NFC: Oppo F1s does not provide NFC whereas the Pixel provides this feature.
Which One Should You Pick Then?
Both the Smartphones are competing with the features mentioned above. However, it is the decision of end user, price variation is huge.The price of Pixel is around USD $ 649 for the 32 GB variant and $ 849 for the 128 GB Pixel XL. Oppo F1s 32 GB variant comes with a price tag of USD $ 257. Oppo F1s is a budget mobile when compared to the Pixel.
