'The Good Place' Season 1 Episode 9 entitled 'Someone Like Me As A Member" will air on Nov. 3 on NBC. Meanwhile, a sneak peek released of the episode reveals how both Eleanors wound up at the wrong place in the afterlife.

In the sneak peek of 'Someone Like Me As A Member," Michael (Ted Danson) and Trevor (Adam Scott) explain to everyone how good Eleanor was sent to the bad place while the bad Eleanor was sent to the good place.

Michael and Trevor explain how they have figured out how two Eleanors met their fates. Trevor says to both Eleanors,"You two are both Eleanor Shellstrop. The day you died, you both were in Phoenix, Ariz. shopping at the same grocery store." Much to astonishment of both Eleanors, Michael explains further," The real Eleanor (Tiya Sircar) was attending a conference on the death penalty and you stopped by to pick up food for a local shelter. And fake Eleanor (Kristen Bell) was there buying margarita mix and a magazine called Celebrity Baby Plastic Surgery Disasters."

As to the question of how the two met their deaths and ended up in wrong places, Michael further explains that incredibly, both died in the same ten thousandths of a second in the same traffic accident. In fact, the way it actually happened was that real Eleanor (Sircar) died while saving fake Eleanor (Bell).

Now that the mystery of the mix-up is solved, Trevor is more than ready to leave the nice, good Eleanor Shellstrop in an exchange with bad, nasty Eleanor to take to the bad place with him. But Michael intervenes by offering Trevor an alternate choice to take with him than bad Eleanor. The choice offered by Michael to Trevor is a unicorn.

It is yet to be seen if Trevor agrees to take the unicorn to the bad place with him, leaving the two Eleanors behind or not. Meanwhile, the official synopsis of Episode 9 of 'The Good Place' reads: "Michael's skills are put to test when he attempts to sort out an unprecedented situation. Chidi makes a connection elsewhere, much to the dismay of Eleanor, while Janet shows a different side to herself."
