Wiki Leaks suggests that Eric Schmidt who is the chairman of Alphabet and also a former Google chief executive is closely involved in the strategic planning for Democratic Party presidential campaign since two years. Emails have been released by wiki Leaks to make this issue public.

Emails were directly highlighted by Wiki Leaks Twitter account. These explain how Google has offered a jet to the Democratic Party for some foreign visit. A close examination of these emails also suggests how Schmidt was interested in becoming a head outside advisor to any future presidential candidate.

Schmidt sent a mail to Hillary Clinton on 15th of April 2014 which included a detailed draft plan explaining how the Democratic Party should structure its campaign, where the party should be based and ways to use technology for maximum effect.

This mail was directly sent to Robby Mook who is currently the campaign chief of Hillary Clinton. These emails were later forwarded to John Podesta and his emails were leaked online by the Julian Assenge-led anti-secrecy group. At least 30,000 messages have been published.

Though there is no direct link to Hillary Clinton on these emails neither in Wiki Leaks assertions and nor in the media reports.

Yes, they contain a point by point technology driven plan so as to create voter profiles and cutting edge election systems. In the key, there is an aggregate record of the voters.

The email further explains that in 2016 Smartphone's shall be handy in identifying, meeting and updating the profile of the customer.  In this way, a dynamic volunteer can easily speak with the voter through the emails getting videos and other information about them which the voters care the most.

It was said that the key unit of the campaign is the voter. Hence each and every record should be updated by the volunteers so as to get the most accurate information.

Eric also suggested through the emails that Washington is not the right place for the headquarters of the election campaign as there are lots of distractions and disruptions.
