The New E-Sports Overwatch League And Sombra Unveiled By Blizzard At BlizzCon 2016
At the BlizzCon the company fully unveiled the Overwatch League and Sombra, the new hero wasn't the only announcement for Blizzard's first-person shooter.
The company claims that the Overwatch League represents a true next generation e-sports experience. The team owners will evaluate the players during tryouts. It has been confirmed that the players will have regular schedules, free agency, baseline salary and professional contracts.
Apart from representing the pinnacle of Overwatch Competition the league also represents a genuine career opportunity for the most skilled Overwatch players.
The league shall we developed in such a way which is accessible to players and fans. In fact, it shall be sustainable and exciting for everyone involved.
The maiden season of the Overwatch League will take place next year. Those who will play well might be invited to join teams. Blizzard wants to make EPL an IPL of Overwatch as it is taking a hands-on approach to Overwatch's e-sports potential.
Overwatch has been found the year's best game with various heroes to choose from, the game play is perfect and Blizzard promises extended support and free content.
Talking about Sombra skills there is a Machine Pistol and it is the primary weapon of Sombra. This is a fully automatic gun which fires at a short range spread.
Through the Hack ability, Sombra is able to stop the enemy heroes from using their abilities for a short period of time. Sombra can also use the Hack on first-aid kits and these will be rendered useless for the opponents.
Sombra is also equipped with Thermoptic Camo which enables her to become invisible for short period of time and she also receives a significant speed boost. This camouflage is disabled only if she attacks, uses an offensive ability or receives damage.
EMP is Sombra's ultimate ability and it is a more powerful Hack that affects all enemies within a wide radius.
