New Celebration Screen Effect in Messages

In the Messaging app on iOS 10.2 beta 1, a new full-screen effect is found. This effect resembles the fireworks screen effect which comes with taptic feedback for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Notification Center Remembers the Last Location

The Notification Center can now recollect the last place from where you left off. It indicates that if you invoke notification center, then you can get to the widgets directly.

New Siri Splash Screen

When you enable Siri, you'll notice a new screen just like a welcome screen or splash screen.

Sorting Music

Earlier it is like, you have to go to the music app panel in settings and then sort the music. Now you can sort music in the music app itself. Another new feature besides this is to sort the playlists by recently added, title, and type.

Preserve Camera Settings

iOS 10.2 beta 1 comes with "preserve settings" panel option in the Camera app preferences. It maintains the last used filter, camera mode, and live photo settings.

Quick Reply Text is Saved

Now you can retain the text you have typed while using the quick reply interface. In the earlier versions of iOS 10, when you open the messages app amid replying, the text you have typed so far will be lost, but in iOS 10.2 the text is carried over to the Messages app.

Enhanced Emergency SOS Feature

Whenever the user uses the Emergency SOS feature, iOS 10.2 will let the users notified with their emergency contact either on their iPhone or Apple Watch.
