'Uncharted 4' Patch 1.15 Update Adds PS4 Pro Support
Uncharted 4 sees a patch update, with the path version being 1.15. This patch version would allow support for the newly released PS4 Pro and would also give HDR support. There have been minor adjustments and improvements in the multiplayers as well, as well as the overall gameplay. Standing bugs also have been squashed. Aside from this, more new features are to arrive soon.
Naughty Dog was all for change, as the new PS4 Pro was announced, and keeping the new console in mind, the game developer has patched Uncharted 4. The patch, aside from the HDR support will also have a reworked audio which will improve its overall stereo quality. However, the patch has more to offer.
The game is now supported at 4K resolution, which means better graphics. The PS4 Pro is compatible with 4K, however, to get this feature, players must have a 4K capable monitor at their disposal. Moreover, the Classic mode is at the second beta test. The first beta test for the Classic mode was held on Nov 3 and continued till the weekend. The second beta test round is going to begin on Nov 11.
Ranked season 3 will be beginning shortly, and thereby the update adds the new Ranked awards in Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master Aviation Glasses. Also, players who enter the lobby are unknown to other players until the match starts. This has been done to provide a better experience. Also, the rank system has been updated, as moving between one rank does not require a qualifier match anymore, however, the rule is still on for moving between many ranks.
The patch notes also state that "players will no longer take cover on something that is fully offscreen". The patch notes conclude that "this led to many situations where players accidentally became stuck to cover when attempting to roll"
The patch also squashes bugs, improves the cinema mode and improves the overall stability. This will make the game run smoother than before.
The new Uncharted 4 for PS4 Pro is set to launch on Nov 10. Stay tuned for more updates.
