Two More Games For Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Update

This November has proved to be fruitful for Xbox One users. Microsoft is pouring their cups full of Backwards compatibility updates. More Older games arriving to play with the new Xbox.

Two more titles were announced earlier in the Backwards Compatibility program. Operation Flashpoint: Red River and Guardian Heroes are the new ones which are about to be added to this collection. This means Microsoft has totally put forward 12 major games.

If you have the Xbox 360 discs of these games, then insert it into the console and download the updates. However, Digitally owned copies of these proposed titles can be updated if they show up in the library of your Games App.

In case you missed the previous titles in the updates, they were Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Theses games are now playable. Their announcement came through with the Mass effect Andromeda trailer.

The first major titles that were confirmed and now playable in the Backwards Compatibility program are Blue Dragon, Limbo, Shred Nebula, Killer Dead and rage.
Players are still waiting for hit games such as  Arkham City, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, or even Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim to be announced for the Xbox one Backwards compatibility program. Imagine playing them in the new consoles. They would work without the smallest of glitches or delays. 

Players are putting forward their game requests to Microsoft, their suggestions that should be included in the Backwards compatibility program. It's only a matter time, any of their requests could be announced in the coming week.


The Backwards Compatibility program is the brainchild of Microsoft to counter their rival Sony's PS4 Pro launch. The upcoming competition between PS4 PRo and Xbox One S is major news in the game tech industry.
