'Dance Moms' Season 6 News, Spoilers & Update: Upcoming Season Is Show’s Final Amidst Miller Facing 10-Year Jail Time?
Very soon Dance Moms Season 6 will come to an end as the show suffers continuous decline in ratings. Not only is Abby Lee Miller dealing with her current court cases in which she's rumored to face a 10-year jail term, she might also be forced to sell her dance studio.
Miller's sentencing was postponed from Dec. 2, 2016 to Jan. 20, 2017 due to a scheduling conflict. The government counsel is not available on the former date, thus requested that the sentencing be continued until January at the time that is convenient for the court, Christian Times reported.
According to the same outlet, season 7 will go on for the first half until Miller receives a confirmed sentence for her court cases. Because of her TV popularity, it was rumored that the prosecutor gave her minimum jail time. Nonetheless, the possibility of a decade long jail time is putting Dance Moms at a high risk for cancellation.
To make matters worse, looks like Miller will be forced to sell the ALDC. As per Radar Online, Debbie Allen seem interesting in the purchase. However, it turns out that she also have money problems of her own. She's dealt with a former federal tax lien amounting to $347,871.46. So who's worse than who? If a troubled owner is replaced by an even troublesome new boss, wouldn't it be better for Lifetime do the final curtain call for the show? But fans are still looking forward for the upcoming episodes for season 7 has reportedly pre-shooted nine episodes and apparently Miller will still be there.
Losing her dancers, losing her studio, losing the show? What more could she lose? The good news for Abby Lee Miller though, is when you've reached rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up. So we wish her the best of luck.
