It's been a while that LG released Android 7.0 Nougat update for LG G5 Smartphone's in South Korean markets.

The LG G5 users are receiving notifications in South Korea to bring in Android 7.0 Nougat update. Sources from Headlines& Global News state that The LG G5 owners in the United States may get the updates by the end of the year or maybe before the holiday season.

• How can you update the LG G5 with Android 7.0 Nougat?

In case the user does not receive a download notification of Android 7.0 Nougat update then there is an option to manually check for update availability by simply clicking on phone setting. Further, choose 'About Phone' then tap on 'System Updates'.

If the messages appears that Android 7.0 Nougat is available then you need to click 'Yes I am in' which is an option to download the update.

After doing this choose 'install now'. The LG G5 will restart automatically once the installation is finished.

In the new version of Android 7.0, Nougat Google has introduced multitasking facility. Users will be able to open two applications side by side. Hence you can watch online videos simultaneously while performing Face book activities or doing some other work online. Apps like phone calls, alarms and text messages are made available without passwords and pins while other apps can't be opened without inserting the pin.  The geo- location API is only allowed over secure origins which will help in securing the information of the users.
