Largest Breach Ever: FriendFinder Networks Websites Hacked
A data of over 420 million users got compromised with the hack of websites of the FriendFinder Networks, such as adultfriendfinder.com, penthouse.com and cams.com. According to sources, the sites were hacked in the month of October and data was stolen.

According to the leak "a breach notification website that specializes in bringing hacking incidents to the public eye." It is to be noted that, on August 2015 the adultery website Ashley Madison was hacked leaving about 32 million users in mayhem.
This was the second time the FriendFinder Network has been breached, after the first instance that took place in May 2015. The breach that happened in October is said to the "Largest ever breach"
Connected sited and Users Affected
Adultfriendfinder.com, which swags itself to be the "world's largest sex & swinger community," is supposedly reported to have affected 340 million users which had the biggest cache of data stolen. Cams.com and penthouse.com had been cited to have compromised of over 62 million and 7 million users stolen, respectively. Other domains of the group, such as stripshow.com and icams.com, had over 1 million accounts compromised, each. About 16 million hacked accounts have been deleted, that is, the databases stored their information even after they have deleted their accounted. FriendFinder sold the Penthouse brand earlier this year, however, it still stored information of its users.

If users have signed-up for any of these sites and used the same login for other linked websites, the passwords were obviously visible said the Leaked Source. Some interesting facts from the hack news include that there are 5,650 .gov email addresses and 78,301 .mil email addresses registered on the hacked websites.
Diana Lynn Ballou, Vice President And Senior Counsel of Corporate Compliance and Litigation at FriendFinder, expressed: "We are aware of reports of a security incident, and we are currently investigating to determine the validity of the reports. If we confirm that a security incident did occur, we will work to address any issues and notify any customers that may be affected."
