A study of 80,000 adults was conducted by Pennsylvanian State University. They concluded that drinking beer on a regular basis may reduce the risk of having a stroke. This can also help in case of the cardiovascular disease.
Apart from reducing the risk of strokes beer also strengthens your bones. Harvard Medical School explains that drinking moderate amounts of beer can reduce the possibility of strokes by 40 percent. Your arteries function properly and the blood flow improves.
It is also believed that excess of beer is bad for bones. In fact, experts advise intake of two glasses of beer every day to strengthen the bones. More than this can weaken your bones.
According to reports from telegraph, the risk of developing kidney stone is almost lowered with the intake of beer. When a study was conducted on 27 thousand middle-aged adults it was concluded that intake of one bottle of beer every day reduced the risk by 40 percent. Beer increases urine flow and it also dilutes urine, so the risk of stone forming is reduced.
The researchers also revealed that beer can also reduce the risk of heart attack. At times the artery walls become furred up because of cholesterol and other fatty substances which may cause heart problems. A study conducted on Chinese adults reveals that moderate daily alcohol intake may help in slowing down the decline of good cholesterol.
In minor cases, beer can cure a patient from insomnia. Beer is considered as a natural nightcap. Beer increases the amount of dopamine in the human brain which makes the drinkers more relaxed and calmed. But researchers say that it happens only if 15 milliliters of beer is consumed.
Apart from this beer can cure cancer, it can help in stopping cataracts and in few cases beer helped people in losing their weight.
