Fans of 'General Hospital' may not be privy to this news but recent speculations suggest that two cast members might be exiting the show. Laura Wright and Anthony Montgomery are said to be bidding goodbyes to Port Charles soon.

Fans of 'General Hospital' are aware of the plotline involving Montgomery, who plays the role of Dr. Maddox in the show, is about to come to an end. For one, things are about to end between Andre and Jordan. It is undeniable that Jordan and Curtis are involved and something is going on between the two. Andre would certainly not be the one to turn a blind eye to this development between Curtis and Jordan. Another hint leading towards Montgomery's exit according to iTechPost is that there is another psychiatrist in Angeles Memorial and with Morgan Corinthos' death, it would not be too hard to plot Montgomery's departure from the show.

Even for Laura, who plays Carly- Morgan's mother in 'General Hospital,' death of her son is a perfect cover for her exit from the show. A mother mourning her son's death will give Laura every excuse to take some time off from the show.

However, Wright and Montgomery are yet to comment on their rumored exit from the show. It is said that Wright is currently vacationing and is planning to come back right after it.

Rumors about Montgomery's exit from the show began when he mentioned in his tweet that there is a sci-fi series that is interested in casting him as a regular in the show. He, however, made it clear via a tweet later that he will not be leaving 'General Hospital.' He explained that the sci-fi series wants him to join them right after whenever he is done with his stint in 'General Hospital.'
