'This Is Us' has won the hearts of audiences with their compelling family drama. As it moves on to its special Thanksgiving Episode 8 to be aired on Nov. 22, here's a quick recap of what unfolded in Episode 7.

Kate and Toby have their dietary confrontations in Episode 7. While Kate is determined to shed pounds irrespective of having lost a mere pound and a quarter, Toby, who has shed eight more pounds, decides to celebrate with a junk food binge. He's simply fed up of dieting but supports Kate's weight loss journey. Kate doesn't see how their relationship will work like this but Toby says it can and takes her to a dinner date. Kate however later breaks down and gives into her craving by eating doughnuts alone in her car.

Randall has not yet seen Kevin's work on 'The Man-ny.' When Kevin spots a billboard for the new season of 'The Man-ny,' he mutters, "Replaced by another black man." This sets off a fight between the two which could've gone worse if it hadn't been interrupted by Seth Meyers.

Beth and William have a hearty chat over pot brownies. William quotes a Dudley Randall poem, which Beth knows from Randall's book he's had since birth with him. William lets it slip he gave that book to Rebecca.

With Kevin moving into the basement to get away from Randall and Jack forgetting to kiss Rebecca goodbye, Rebecca's return to music seems to give her some solace. She has an incredible music rehearsal, her first in 10 years but she's not able to tell Jack with so much going on with the kids.

'This Is Us' upcoming Episode 8 titled, 'Pilgrim Rock' promo and synopsis are out lending a sneak peek on what fans can expect to see in the coming episode.

"As Jack, Rebecca and the three kids make their way to Rebecca's parents house for their traditional Thanksgiving holiday, an unforeseen detour occurs. Kate makes two drastic life-changing decisions. Kevin brings Olivia to Randall's house for Thanksgiving. Randall's heart is broken when he learns about a lifelong secret his mother has kept fro him," reads the synopsis.
