The future operating system for iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone is termed as iOS Glitch which was launched by Apple on June 13, 2016. Officially the operating system was made public three months later on September 13, 2016.

A problem has been encountered by the iPhone users with this famed operating system. A lock screen glitch has been discovered which allows the hackers an access to the owner's personal data. Gamenguide reveals that via the hack it is very easy to bypass the lock screen, which enables an unhampered access to the user's protected data. Such data may include photos, contacts and message logs.

If the phone is Sri enabled device, the hacker will simply make a call to the phone he wishes to gain access off. In case the number is unknown to the hacker then it is possible to ask Sri a question who am I. It is also possible to make a FaceTime call to the device and the phone number is obtained.

The next step is to go to message option on the screen while choosing custom. The screen that will open can be used while responding a call with a message. Sri can be instructed by the hacker to turn the voice over on.

All these steps require subsequent timing. There should be the double trapping of the contact info bar while holding the second tap on the bar. If the hacker immediately clicks the first letter of the customer's name on the keyboard along with info button following the contact than the hacker will have an access to the information about the contact. But the phone will remain locked when performing these steps.

Apple insider applied the same process to iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, and iPhone 6S Plus. But this glitch will not work on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus because these devices have slightly altered keyboard innovation timings. This defect has been reported to Apple by the testers.
