Apple iPhone 8 And Samsung Galaxy S8 Might Capitalize On Bezel-Less Technology

The Chinese Smartphones like Xiaomi Mi Mix has left no stone unturned in capturing the interests of the users after introducing the edge to edge screen. It is speculated that Apple and Samsung might dive into the market capitalizing on the technology having bezel- less display.

Apple and Samsung are slipping the sales graph against their Chinese competitors. Hence it is logical for them to enter the bezel-free design market, UniversityHerald reported.

With the 10th anniversary of its, iPhone Apple is planning to bring big changes to the new iPhone designs. The iPhone 8 which will reach the market in 2017 is speculated to have a curved bezel-free display.

Samsung is relying on its mid-range phones and the flagship Galaxy S8 because the company had to face customer's wrath as a result of the Galaxy Note 7 battery fiasco. Galaxy S8 will be out in 2017. This Smartphone is expected to have a bezel-free design. In fact, it will have a complete edge to edge design without a front home button.

The bezel-free display of Galaxy S8 is based on OLED technology. According to speculations this phone might come with either a 5.7-inch display or 6.2-inch display.

It is believed that both these companies Samsung and Apple are moving on a downward slope when it comes to market shares as compared to their Chinese rivals.

It is a fact that Samsung's third-quarter figures dropped to 71.7 million Smartphone shipments and it is 14.2 percent decline as compared to the same period last year.

On the other hand, Apple's third quarter Smartphone shipments were down to 6.6 percent to only 43 million.

In this year's third quarter, shipments and market share went up for companies like BKK Communication Equipment, Huawei, and Oppo. Hence these Chinese tech companies are leading the Smartphone market.
