Samsung Galaxy S9 And Galaxy Note 9 To Feature Harman High-End Audio Technology
Samsung has provided clues about its plans for future devices through the recent acquisition of Viv and Harman. The company has already hinted that it would release Smartphone's in 2018 which will have Harman high-end audio technology, Tech Times reported.
Acquisitions often help in providing clues about what the Smartphone makers are thinking in terms of making an addition to future devices. In fact, it is never too early to begin work on the Smartphone's that may arrive in the future.
It was because of the acquisition of Beats Music and Beats electronics by apple in 2014 for $3 billion which paved way for Apple music. The high-end audio was brought to Apple's iOS and MAC lineup through the audio technology found in the popular beats of Dr. Dre accessories.
Through the recent acquisitions by Samsung, it has become easy to peep into the future Smartphone technology by the company. Viv, an AI company is from the makers of Sri which were recently purchased by Samsung. It is believed that Samsung is planning to replace its S voice virtual assistant with enhanced AI. This AI assistant will have its own button on the side edge of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
Samsung has acquired Harman for $8 billion so as to gain entry into the automotive market. HARMAN complements Samsung in terms of products, technology, and solutions.
Harman is a tier one automotive supplier, its customer relationships are deep and the brands are strong. This brand offers leading technology and it has a recognized portfolio of best in class products.
It is also speculated that Samsung might use Harman's high-end audio in the coming Galaxy Smartphone's. The first model of Galaxy S series phone with Harman's high-end audio technology might arrive in 2018.
If Samsung really accepts Harman audio in next generation Galaxy Smartphone's than this technology is expected to debut on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 and these Smartphone's will be announced in 2018.
