Justin Bieber Punches A Fan On The Face In Spain
Justin Bieber, who is currently on his 'Purpose Tour,' grabbed headlines for punching a fan on his face in Barcelona on Tuesday.
A video released by TMZ shows the 22-year-old pop star arriving approaching Palau Sant Jordi in his car for his concert. A male fan is then seen running alongside Bieber seated in the back of the car. The fan reaches out his hand towards Bieber, appearing to touch his face. Just then, the pop star fires a punch leaving the fan bloodied in his mouth.
The fan then runs to his friends and other people showing his bloodied lips around. He says to the cameras, "He punched me...I touched his face like this and he went boom!' MailOnline reported.
The fan, who is a minor, is said to be contemplating whether to sue Bieber over his actions or not. Bieber's representatives have not issued or replied to requests for comments, according to ET. Meanwhile, the police have not investigated the incident yet; the investigations reportedly will not open until the fan makes a formal complaint.
Bieber has repeatedly expressed his concerns over the behavior of his zealous fans in the 'Purpose Tour.' The singer implored his fans to take a chill pill explaining that he feels like he is not being heard sometimes, during an October stop of 'Purpose Tour' in Birmingham, England.
In Manchester, days later after the Birmingham incident, the singer was seen storming off the stage after getting frustrated with the audience only to return back to the stage a few minutes later.
The singer has shied away from his fans in recent months and even deleted his Instagram account. The former Baywatch actor, David Hasselhoff defended Bieber's actions in his appearance on 'Good Morning Britain.' The 64-year-old actor agreed with Bieber's decision to punch the fan in Barcelona. The star shared that his fans had chased him in the past and 'jump in my car and pretty much terrify me.'
"You need to treat us with respect, and you will get respect back,' Hasselhoff added.
