Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane stole attention when he proposed to his girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir on November 22. Gucci performed during the halftime in Atlanta Hawks basketball game. The couple was shown on the Kiss Cam and Gucci took advantage of the moment. He used the opportunity to take out the box containing a 25-karat diamond ring.

The couple's love story started in 2010 after Gucci saw her in a hip hop magazine. The rapper then asked if she can be a part of his music video, CNN reported. Last July in an interview with the New York Times, he talked how Keyshia supported him through his substance abuse. He also talked about how her girlfriend stood by her for the time when he got in prison for possession of a firearm. Gucci added that their relationship has ups and downs because he would mess up and do stupid things and Keyshia was there through it all.

Their love story is a real definition of relationship goals. The couple has been together for six years and their love was put to test many times. One significant event in the couple's love story was when Gucci was jailed in 2014. The offense was a parole violation and possession of firearms. Like an ideal girlfriend, Keyshia never left him. She was there assisting him in getting his music out while in prison. In one of his shows, XXL reported that Gucci dedicated a line for Keyshia saying that his city treats him like a king, that he should wear a crown, and that he gave his girl "two mil" because she "stuck around".

Since his release last May, Gucci has been busy performing at his comeback shows and collaborating with artists like Kanye West and Drake. He also released a new album entitled Everybody's Looking. Keyshia, on the other hand, is busy with her Ka'oir Cosmetics and Ka'oir Fitness.
