'Pretty Woman' Actress Julia Roberts And Family Enjoyed Manchester United's Game
On Sunday the Hollywood star, Julia Roberts was a surprise guest at the Manchester United's premier league home game versus the west ham. The award-winning actress was joined by her family also included was her husband the cinematographer Daniel Moder. They watched the match from the stands before being given VIP access to the old Trafford pitch.
Julia Roberts who is already 49 years old is one of Hollywood's most recognizable faces. She starred in films such as Pretty Woman, Nothing Hill, and Eat Pray Love. The actress was seen talking to Coleen Rooney, the wife of Wayne Rooney who is the England captain and the injured united midfielder Michael Carrick.
The said game ended in a 1-1 draw. Jose Mourinho from the united boss sent off for reacting angrily to a refereeing decision. The scoring for Westham was opened by Diafra Sakho in the Second minute. This was before Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed home Paul Pogba's cross in the 21st.
Six minutes later Mourinho was sent to the stands. As a result, he became frustrated and he was seen kicking a water bottle. This happened after Pogba was yellow carded, which is his fifth of the season. According to CNN this only means the Frenchman is now facing a one-match suspension while Jose Mourinho could receive a two-match touchline ban after his latest indiscretion.
Although the united fans were not hoping for that kind of outcome of the match, it was all smiles for Julia Roberts and her three kids who invited to the pitch after the said game. Telegraph reported that despite the disappointing result of the match, Julia Roberts still looked ecstatic as she joined her family on the old Trafford pitch following the end of the game; she took pictures of her three children namely Hazel, Henry and Phinnaeus as they enjoyed an impromptu kick-about on the pitch.
