Sony Launches Japan-Exclusive 'Final Fantasy XV' Limited Edition Audio Products
A limited series of "Final Fantasy XV" products have been launched by Sony only for Japanese customers, which includes a new Walkman for those users who still wish to carry their music in a separate device. Apart from this, the company has also launched a pair of headphones and a wireless speaker.
The A series Sony Walkman supports Hi-Res Audio, which makes it capable of playing FLAC format audio files. This 16GB storage model can hold 300 songs and it would cost around $300. Another version is equipped with 32GB of memory for 660 songs and it would cost around $350 as reported by Gadgets360. Both these models feature a microSD (128GB) card, while the expandable storage is up to 140 GB and 160 GB.
According to Slash Gear hear.on MDR100-A headphones by Final Fantasy might cost $200. There is an availability of a Bluetooth speaker in case the customer does not want a set of over-the-ear headphones. The speaker is SRS-HG1 which might cost $250. The theme of the company can be sensed from the speakers as these are rectangular black having "Final Fantasy XV" on the top. It is expected that none of these products would be sold outside Japan.
After a decade of patiently waiting for the "Final Fantasy XV" console to arrive, its availability was no less than a superbowl event for gamers. Sony even adds to the celebration by releasing these special edition audio products to fans and enthusiasts. The special edition "Final Fantasy XV" Walkman even has a customized icons that are only available to the limited model, as reported by The Verge.
It is possible to order these three products online apart from purchasing them from selected Sony stores across Japan. There is a 10 percent discount in case the customer has a Sony Network Entertainment account. These products would be delivered until Dec. 21 as disclosed by Sony Japan online.
