Last September 7, 2016, Apple introduced iPhone 7, Apple Watch Series 2 and Airpods. The company never fails when it comes to big surprises in the world of gadgets. After 3 months, Apple announced that AirPods is now available in Apple Stores and can be ordered online from the company's authorized resellers for $159.

AirPods and the previous Earbuds do look the same, but one major difference is AirPods are wireless and uses Bluetooth and an Apple's W1 chip to work. It is totally different from the usual earbuds commonly used. Each pod weighs 0.14 oz which is really light to wear and its charging case weighs 1.34 oz that can charge for up to 24 hours of usage.

Meanwhile, Durability test was also performed which ended with an impressive result. The pods are able to work the same after it has fallen numbers of feet above the ground with and without the case. Though the company has not released any information on the AirPods as water resistant, the pods were still intact and good after it was tested in a washing machine as shown in a video posted on YouTube and shared on social media. After the entire test, no changes nor difference were noticed in the sound and its other feature.

Everyone always has something to say whether it's good or bad. Ever since the AirPods went out, it received some criticisms regarding on its price which is way too high for some people and it might be lost due to the possibility that it will fall out from the ears.

However, some people who were able to use and tried AirPods said that when in normal use it is unlikely to happen. On the other hand, an online petition was raised and was signed by estimated 300,000 people criticizing the company and claiming that they are creating tons of electronic waste as old headphones will be thrown away due to its new AirPods.
