Danganronpa V3 is the latest installment in the murder mystery video game developed by spike Chunsoft. The demo for Danganronpa V3 is out in Japan for quite some time now.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the latest installment in the Danganronpa series. The game is developed by spike chunsoft, who is also responsible for the first two main games and the spin-off. Danganronpa V3 will be handling a new set of characters with a brand new protagonist named Kaede. The game will also have Monokuma as the same headmaster and mastermind of the new Killing Game. He, along with a group of Monokumas who call themselves, Monokuma Cubs, supervise the latest Killing Game, in which Kaede, along with fifteen other characters take part. The demo for Danganronpa V3 is out in Japan since December 20.

The demo mirrors the same events during the introduction of the first game. Players can navigate the school grounds and interact with the other characters. Like the first two games, the demo also sports a demo killing and trial. The purpose of the trial in the demo is for players to get a glimpse of what will be the game's mechanics. Some of the mechanics have been retained like the non-stop debate.

Two new mechanics have been introduced for the player in Danganronpa V3. The Panic Debate is a new mechanic where characters get to take all at the same time. Like the non-stop debate, it is the player's job to detect the discrepancy in their statements. There is also the Scrum Debate feature, where the debate is divided into two different sections with different beliefs. There's also in improved "Brain Dive", where the players get to play a mini-game, collecting letters and answering questions related to the trial.

Returning characters are also present in the demo trial. Both protagonists from the first two games are present to aid the characters in their class trial. Yasuhiro Hagakure from Danganronpa 1 also returns as the victim for the demo version in order to hide the true victim and murder for Danganronpa V3.

Danganronpa V3 is slated for release on January 12, 2017, in Japan. NIS America will be bringing the game to the West sometime in 2017.
