‘Civilization VI’ Gets Big Updates, New Civ
“Civilization” has been around since history itself and now the newest part of the game series “Civilization VI” has received a big winter update. What new has been added to the game with it?
Kotaku reports that a new “”Civilization VI” patch is live. What are the changes coming with it? A standard sized Earth Map has been added to the game. Alongside it, other changes include the “alert” mode in which players can place their units. This mode makes them become irresponsive until they have spotted an enemy. When they spot an enemy approaching, they will notify the player.
Another great addition is the scenario setup menu. This will allow you to easily start any scenario from the “Single Player” screen, without going through any further trouble. This includes the scenarios made available through the new DLC campaigns which have been released together with the patch.
Worth Playing shares additional information on the Polish faction, which is one of the two who have been released through the recently added DLC’s. The Polish civilization seems to be one made purely for the aggressive players. They have a fortification skill, which allows them to steal hexes from nearby enemies. This is not the only strong side of the Polish civilization. To them has also been added the opportunity to convert your enemies from nearby hexes into your own religion, which helps assimilation of the people. The unique to the Polish faction unit “Winged Hussars” has the ability to push back enemies on the battlefield. All these perks make for an amazing opportunity to play a highly aggressive campaign.
When it comes to aggressors, The Bit Bag shares the fact surrounding the second DLC released together with the latest patch. The second DLC offers a campaign as a Viking. Play as either Swedish, Norwegian and Danish civilizations, sending their mighty Viking warriors on pillage throughout Europe in an amazing 100 turn campaign.
To play the Polish or Viking DLC’s players must first purchase “Civilization VI”. Share your thoughts in the comments section!
