Naruto Shippuden Episode 488 is set to conclude Sasuke's atonement arc and will later then introduce a new storyline about her daughter Sarada. On this episode, fans will witness the most awaited battle between Chino and Sasuke which was not present in the previous episode.

Naruto Shippuden Episode 487 was indeed a total cliffhanger for all Naruto fans. When everybody expecting Sasuke and Chino will face off, the previous installment left with something to look forward to. But, there are some speculations that Chino might reconsider and not battle Sasuke on Naruto Shippuden Episode 488.

According to this source, Chino might change her mind toward her intent of killing Sasuke who is the core of her hatred. The preview for Naruto Shippuden Episode 488 shows Chino debating with Sasuke on why he defend Konoha even though he knows that his clan was annihilated because of it. Yet, Sasuke explained that a friend made him change his ways and discover a new meaning of life.

It will be an interesting face off between Sasuke and Chino since both possess Kekkei Genkai which is an ability passed through clans that enable its user to mix elemental chakras, thus making them more powerful. Also, both characters are the last of their clans. To recall, Chino lost her ancestors probably due to starvation because of the inhospitable condition while Sasuke lost his clan through his brother Itachi. Both characters have huge similarities, therefore fans hope that Naruto Shippuden Episode 488 will exhibit an exciting fight scene between two characters.

Naruto Shippuden Episode 488 entitled "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 5: The Last One" is set to air January 8, 2017. As announced, Naruto Shippuden will not air this coming week because of the holiday season and special coverage.
