Nintendo's Super Mario Run was recently released for Apple. Will it be available to download for Android soon?

Super Mario Run. Nintendo's Super Mario was recently released as a mobile game on Apple's iOS. While there have been a lot of downloads for the mobile game despite the hefty $9.99 price tag, there have been a lot of complaints from users.

Apart from the high price point, users complained that it was too easy and too simple of a game for its price. In addition, it was also absurd for users that the game was available for online play only.

In order to prevent piracy, the game can only be played when connected to the Internet. This drew a lot of flak from players, especially those who were hardcore Pokemon Go players.

Super Mario Run for Android. At present, users should not try to download the Super Mario Run APK files. These files are most likely malware as the game has not been officially released for Android.

Nintendo of America's big boss, Reggie Fil-Aime, did, however, confirm that Super Mario Run will be made available to Android in the future sometime in 2017. Other than that, Nintendo has not given any concrete reply about the game's availability next year but they have implied that they will be releasing new mobile gaming apps next year.

Nintendo's Mobile Gaming Future. There were also talks saying that Nintendo will be releasing two to three more mobile games for 2017. There was no word on whether or not it would also be an iOS exclusive or available to Android as well.

"In order to develop the game and make it as special, we had to focus on one platform and we decided to focus on iOS, iPhone, [and] iPad," he said in the past. "And so, in the future, it is coming to Android, we've made that commitment and something that will happen in 2017."
